We made it to Rhode Island!!

But, we almost missed the flight because me being the savvy traveller that I am was sitting at the wrong gate the whole time waiting for them to call boarding, didn't realize it until 1 minute before our flight was to depart so we had to make a mad dash to the other side of the airport, me knowing all along we missed the flight.... well, thank goodness for the rain delay!! Was a little embarrasing walking down the aisle to the last row of the plane with everyone staring at us like it was our fault the flight was delayed. Thank goodness right after that the pilot announced that there was a delay because of the storm

I also got checked extra good at security because I realized that my ID was not in my purse when I got to the airport. They took me and Aaralyn aside (but still in front of all the other people) and they frisked me and really checked all my baggage thoroughly and also had to swab our shoes to make sure we didn't have shoe bombs I guess... I had flip flops on and Aaralyn had on a pair of crocks, but they really scrutinezed us, then let us go and told us to have a nice flight... geeeeez.... guess it's for our own safety though!

I talked to her last night and she's having a great time with Daddy and his girlfriend so I'm really pleased considering the last time we came up here she cried the whole time she was with him and wanted to come back to me. Last night she could barely be bothered to come to the phone to say goodnight so I'm actually happy about that since it means she's happy.

He did piss me off though and say he's bringing her back on Weds instead of Thurs because he works Thursday evening... OK, so why does that mean he has to bring her back on Weds, couldn't he keep her Weds night too?? You'd think he'd want to squeeze in as much time as he can with her since he doesn't see her nearly as often as before we moved.... oh well, his loss!! (but sadly her loss too )

Ah thats a shame.
