From experience...

is it best to have sex every day when you are most fertile?

Firstly it depends when you main fertile time is, if you have a 28 day cycle day 14 would be the day to have sex.(its about 14 days after your period starts but you prob know this)

Sometimes though by having sex to often the ivf place i went too did say there is then a lower amount of semen if you do it too often . So i guess every other day from about day 11 to day 17 is about write. but often we did not fancy ot on those days so try just to go with it.

But at the same time the more you do it, the chances should also be higher of course to get pregnant. You only ovalate for one day but the mans semen lives in you for upto 72 hrs.

I was also on a 28 day cycle and was trying from the 14th day as my gyno told me to.In the end it turned out i was ovulating much sooner (7th day).We also got told that every second day having sex gave us a good chance of ttc as the sperm count had time to recover.Hope this helped a little??
