Someone give me some motivation!!

The house is a mess... Aaralyn's got a little cold again (not keeping her down though, don't worry ) and Mike should be home late tonight or early tomorrow depending whether they drive straight up or stop over night.

I'm looking for every excuse I can find to not clean the house right now but I need to just do it and then I can relax....


hhmm hmm guess I'll start with laundry first, or the dusting, or Aaralyn's room, or the vacuuming..... ahhhhhh it's all so overwhelming

Hmmmn sounds similar to when i find so many excuses!!

Just blare out some of your fave tunes, dance around while dusting and vacuuming like a crazy women

and then chill after with a nice cup of green tea...

I've just put some music on, that was a good idea... I've bribed Aaralyn with a special reward if she cleans her whole room by herself with no help from me. I've got a load of laundry started and now I am going to sit back and read posts NO wait, that wasn't what I was gonna do, it was to vacuum the floors (sigh)

lol lee's really good at tidying up and it irritates him more than me,
so i say the kids have been a real handfull all day then he does it when he comes in.

Pff wish that would work for me lol

I got 'ffs' when I asked him to put his own kids to bed today...I've only walked them all the way to the mil's this morning in the pouring rain, walked on to work and done 9 while 5, walked back down to the mils from work to bring them home, got in at the same time as he got in from college and I got started with dinner, put some washing on the airer and then washed up..

I can't complain to much about Mike... he usually does the cooking and the cleaning of the kitchen (for the most part)

I'm in charge of the rest of the house however (only by default because no one else does other stuff, well Mike does do laundry sometimes too)

One thing about him (and Amber) that drives me nuts is that they will take there shoes and socks off where ever they sit and then they will just stay there... Mike ends up with like 4 pairs of socks under the coffee table until I give in and pick them up to vacuum LOL usually when I pick them up there's a load of dog hair that has attached itself to the sock pile too

I've got a good amount done (so far) even if I do keep popping on here all day

LOL, i hope you got all your house work finished,my vacume cleaner is still sitting in the same place i left it yesterday morning.
I also have NO motivation.lol

Wooo hooo!! I'm done, well a little laundry still to do but that's it... YAY!!

It's getting ready to thunderstorm here now so shuttin the computer down for a bit....
