Good idea or not?

I'm considering going to the supermarket this afternoona dn buying some hair dye - i'd love to go dark but worry that it wouldn't take - so just thinking of brightening up my blonde for our holiday next week!

I usually have highlights done at the salon but i cannot afford it before our jollies (£60 is the cheapest and then a haircut on top it's just too much money that i haven't got!)

Can anyone recommend a good DIY hair-dye????

I thought about doing the same a while ago, but that week my friend did hers and it did not go blond it went a strange colour.

Would love to say about a positive experience but sadly maybe a trip to the hairdressers is the only way??? Unsure

ive been using hair dyes on and off for years and have had no probs. im a redhead and always get told my hair will go green but its never happened (touch wood lol)

i recently dyed mine and its a lovely burgandy colour.

remember if you do choose to colour make sure you do a sensitivity test 48hrs before dying

I've done a sensitivity test at work the other day as i'm having my eyebrows and eyelashes tinted before i go away - so will that be okay?? (goodness i feel dense ha haaa)

im not overly sure hun. i think you need to do a test with every different product you use. dont take that as gospel though Shrug
