Work meeting didnt go well

had a meeting with my manager at work today about me going back after being off ill since february and she basically told me my place with the department im in at the moment isnt really going to be viable and that i got to see if there any other departments i want to go to.. which there isnt so im guessing im out of a job

why isnt is viable for you to go back to your dept??

Watch how things go- seek advice from CAB anout going back etc- you might have grounds for constructive dismissal if your employer doesnt accomodate you.

because they hired in all the summer staf so theyre upto the maximum capacity and she just hired 5 more people to go onto what was doing officially and asked if i was willing to go back to something my counsellor recommended i shouldnt do and then asked me if there was any other depts in the airport i wanna move to and there isnt but she told me to have a think and give her a call when im ready to go back and discuss where we are going

Sorry to hear that hun, but I think they are in the wrong doing what they are doing.

Definately get advice - I'm pretty sure they are legally obliged to offer you your old job or an equivilent.
