I'm confused whether I'm pregnant or not!

OK, I'm confused. I can't tell if I'm pregnant or not! I'm late on my period by about 3 weeks, I've been nauseated, headachey, exhausted, and nearly ran a red light to get to my mom's house to eat something she fixed for me because it was all I could think about all day. Also, I have use the restroom nearly every half hour (no complications there or anything, just have to go a lot more than usual). However, I took two pregnancy tests and both showed up as negative. However, a friend of mine said his wife ended up using 5 tests before one came back positive. So much for 99% accurate! Does it sound like I'm pregnant? I'm going to go to the Planned Parenthood Monday or Tuesday, but wondered if anyone had any other ideas of what may be going on. One other note, I DID have a period about a week and a half after the day I believe I would have conceived. Just not one since and we've been very careful since. I wouldn't mind being pregnant, but I HATE not knowing one way or the other. Would be great if a test came back positive, or I started...one way or the other!!! It does all sound like you are pregnant, and false negatives can occur. I think going to see the doctor is the best option. Was the period you had 'normal' or lighter/shorter than usual? sometimes an implantation bleed can occur.

Thanks for responding so quickly. Thank you for the welcome! Everyone on this site seems so friendly. Yeah, think it's time to visit the doc. My periods are always a little light, although there is usually one heavy day, but this one ended in 3 days. Whew!

Well, I went to Planned Parenthood today and they also came back as a negative, so I made an appointment with my doc. I go in tomorrow for a blood test, which I hope will be the most accurate. When the lady at the baby clinic told me it was a negative, I almost started bawling. Well, if it's still a no tomorrow, then I will get things at my home ready anyway, that way there will be no big changes to house I'll have to do before we ARE a positive. I have a ton to do and it will give me a chance to put back a little cash for the birth and other stuffs. Guess we'll see tomorrow...Thanks for your support!!! PS. Glad to see another USA, although I adore the british!

I went to my doc and they took blood for a blood test. I'm gonna call them tomorrow to find out the results. Even if not, I'm gonna get things ready for when our little miracle DOES happen. If yes, I'd better hurry!!! LOL! PS. Love the Scots and Aussies too! Another two places I REALLY want to visit! Got some Scotty blood in the line too. Thanks all. I'll let you all know! Sigh...blood test says it's a no. I made an appointment to find out what is going on. They think its stress. Well...back to trying!!! Guess that's at least half the fun! Thanks for the support everyone.

sorry to hear you didnt get the result you wanted but as you say you can have more fun trying.
