Clip in hair extensions

have any of you ever used them? I was just looking at some on ebay but don't want to buy them then never use them. Do they look good and do they look smooth and blend well with your own hair? I'm not getting them to make my hair look longer as I have long hair, it's because I want to get some brightly coloured ones that I can just clip in when I'm feeling funky

a collegue of mine uses them and they look really nice, id go for it
