Oh yea, I can see the Jack Russel in them... knew it was some kind of terrier but never would have guessed some collie in there LOL

Look out, Jack Russels are adorable and very intelligent but VERY high energy!! expect a lot of bouncing around from them... maybe the collie in them will counteract the hyperness.

Good luck with them hun, I don't know if it's possible but I would try not to take them until they're about 8 weeks old... it's really important for their social skills to be with the mom dog and the other pups until about that age... not gonna be horrible if you take them at 6 weeks though.

they do lok cute

Personally- not the kind of dog I would have around children. And also both breeds need a really firm hand and lots of exercise because of the working dog backgrounds (2 would be too much for me to handle at the same time)

I have to agree with Tammy I think 6 weeks is very early to take them away from mum, the extra 2 weeks taking them to 8weeks makes a HUGE difference

good luck with them.

We took Roxie at 5 weeks because basically we had no choice, and in the end it was so much better for her.

We think Roxie has some Collie in her, she's a Heinz 57 lol, but prodominently (sp) she has Lab in her. She was pretty much a bit of a nightmare for the first 2 yrs, chewing and just being generally bouncy. She is the most loyal dog though and so loving Love

she's not too well at the moment, she's got a gippy tummy. While we were away she went to marts dads and apparently found a chicken carcass in the feild where he took her for a run and began to eat it. She's had the runs and we keep getting not very nice smells for her rear end wafting past Gag We are keeping an eye on her, she seems to be eating and drinking ok, fingers crossed she will bbe fine. She's eaten worse in the past so think she will be fine.

our pup is a collie x jack russell and i must say i applaude you takin on 2 of them.

ours (shoni) is hyper and alot of work. she is extremely hyper very bouncy. we dont really have the garden for her to run around in but when she goes to lee's parents she plays in the garden all day thats only way she tires out.

but theres nothing to say yours will be anything like shoni, i really hope theyre not.

theyre very cute tho.

Sarah, I hope Roxy's feeling better soon too.... and she's still a puppy, she's not old LOL... Cory's got almost 6 years on her and still going really strong now that she's healed from her surgery, she's like a puppy again! Betcha you'll have Roxy around for a long time to come Love
