went to the doctors today.

I didnt realise that a water infection was so serious in early pregnancy. I think im about 8 weeks pregnant (my 2nd) and the doctor said he can tell im atleast 14weeks just by lookin at me! But got my scan 2weeks tomorrow so will find out for sure then but anyway ive gotta water infection as it hurts when i pee, and he said that it needs sorting asap as it can cause mc! But i thought it was just in late pregnancy and could cause prem labour! had to do a wee sample and need to ring up thursday at latest and get results, cannot start antibiotics until they know what infection i may have, But if a water infection is so dangerous in early PG why should i wait till thursday?? WORRIED

I have never heard that a water indection early on was bad (learn something new every day) They will probably being doing lots of tests to see if they can find out what infection it is to give you the right anitbiotics.
