Leave it for several days before you try turning it on and it might be ok.. the insides of electronics can take ages to dry, and if you turn it on when it's still damp inside, it'll short circuit.

put it in the airing cupboard to dry, i did this to my sons mobile, we took the back off and the battery out and dryed it out, youd never know what happened!!
