Lazy baby? - must be a boy ;-)

I wondered if anyone else has not noticed much movement or fluttering 2nd time around by 16 weeks, which I am at the moment.

With my daughter, I had lots of 'butterflies' by now and really saw the first movement by week 18. However, this time around, no butterflies, a few odd pains low down in my pelvis and nothing else.

Babies heartbeat is sound but s/he is sitting very low down this time and seems to be stopping there

I read that with 2nd and subsequent children, you feel the movements earlier. Is it just me missing the sensation?

Maybe you are getting the flutters but not feeling them as you are so busy with your DD. Just a thought???

I felt flutters with my second a little earlier but the kicks I didn't feel until I was about 22 weeks, with my first I felt the kicks around 20ish weeks, I didn't really seem to get many flutters at all first time around.

i have been feeling baby for aboiut 3weeks now,was little flutters but now i feel thuds.

i think it was you guys on here that told me when i said i dont feel im bonding with this bump that its because i have ethan to think of,when my daily activities are focused around ethan,i aint stopping to think about bump - as the only time i really do feel him move is when im sitting down or if im doing dishes or in the shower (basically relaxing times when my minds not occupied)... maybe this is the same for you too as you have you other lo to think about.as for the pains - i get them and they are quite bad pains aint they! like sumbody is stabbing you in the tip of your pubic bone!

i felt mine moving loads early on and now he doesnt sit still my lil girl didnt move around as much as this one is lol and im having a boy

I felt Ethan my 1st move at 16 weeks and with my 2nd Conrad it was about 18 weeks,think my stomach muscles had been stretched more so didnt feel it as much lol but my 2 boys were very active and kicked and moved alot
