quest to find new friends!!

This is the new sticky to discuss our quest to find new mums/friends near us whether that be through facebook, netmums etc.

update on me- still talking to my old school friend on msn, we have to arrange a date to meet just both so busy, I am hoping it will be soon.

would it be possible to have this as a forum and then stickys of the different areas to save a lot of confusing and scanning thru posts?

i just thought there was a skicky for the site netmums lol xxx

It kinda was- I answered an advert on netmums and it turned out to be an old school friend. I think it was called our quest to find a friend!!

there is the meet up forum for that, this was originally jo-jos (I think) post about her quest to find a friend near here through netmums and some of us followed and we just had it all posted in the same thread to discuss our highs and lows, not really worthy of a seperate forum, I think, as it was more a discussion thread.

I can change the title if you can think of something more suitable.

this thread was mine lol and another update is needed,well got about another 3 nights out planned 1 next weekend with sonme girls I used to work with,1 in july with netmums and another in june with some other girls I used to work with,so am a very happy bunny at the minute got lots to look forward to and bought myself a new top reduced from £60 to £18 in the sale,its a fab wheels and dollbaby one lol,so am ready to hit the toon woohoo

I cant remember if i posted about it or not before Jp went down,but Vic and i went to our three play dates and we had a ball,we have caught up with all his friends through out the holidays and he has been loving evry minute of it and so have i.
In two weeks all three of us mums are going out for lunch (minus kids) so that should be fun.

Thought I would update about myself and my friend I got back in touch with

Joseph and I went to hers for a cuppa and then she has been to mine and we took the kids to see Wall-E together. Joseph and her eldest (he is 3) have hit it off and we have kinda picked up from school.

Hey I have made a few new friends

Four from a parenting website, Emma from Nursery, fairly good friends now, met her on Mon, went to the park with her and met a new mum got her no and she lives just round the corner . Also another mum from Caits nursery got talking to her on Wed and she lives in the next block of flats and been invited round there whenever we like!!!!

Soo good to get out and bout and meet new people.
