My friend had stars on her wrist for each of her children, I have James over a celtic star on my left shoulder and Gemma on a cherub on my right ankle.

Also have a big celtic thing in the small of my back with song lyrics round it-took 2 half hours to do! No more for me for a while!

I have my daughters name and D.O.B on my shoulder although i want a butterfly and rose added to it but cant decide on ones i like because there are too many. her middle name is rose and she was born in the year of the butterfly.
Remember before getting a tattoo, get price quotes, i was quoted £65 for mine in one shop but found another place that did it for £20 thats a huge saving, i asked my brother about the 2 places and he has had tattoos done by both, the dear one has gone scabby and blotchy and the cheap place has been excellent that he recommends it to others

Why don't you design the butterfly / rose yourself?? That way it is far more individual?

Dp has tattos but i don't (yet) unsure as to whether i'd have any. My friend has a gorgeous one right up her thigh, with her 3 kiddies initials on it (cannot quite describe it) but it's really individual...

thats a gd idea, didnt think of that, my daughter has a pair of jeans with a really nice butterfly on it but maybe its worth a go cheers for the idea
