Did anyone see my fake baby

I'm sorry but i thought it bizarre! People having dolls made to look like their ideal baby/ their long lost grandson etc etc.

Then going to expensive designer shops and buying them outfits, leopard bottle warmers. Making bottles up out of fabric softener and putting them in a pram and pushing them around supermarkets and parks.

I'm not saying these people are doing anything 'wrong' i just find it strange that the people they did show were grandaparents so did have children / or they could have children but the dolls are so much nicer and don't soil their clothes

The people who make them obviously have a thriving business and are good at what they do.

One lady flew from England to America to pick up her new 'baby'. 'She' was 3 months old, had a pram that cost a smal fortune and a coming home outfit that cost £450.00 ........................

yeh i saw it, its mad i think neway. i dont get to spend that much on my real children! LOL

i watched it- i think these people seem a little bananas in the head LOL!! the girl that makes em is from round by me!!

my mum told me about it the other night,
madness i think LOL well i dont mind the whole gettin the doll done to look like ur own as a baby but going over board when they buy real prams ect to act like its a real baby scary stuff xxx

could she not have kids or anythin?
but even if she couldnt theres real kids out there that needs a loving mum who can sped that much on em but instead it gets spent on a doll LOL xx

I saw it advertisied and that freaked me out enough. I've seem something similar advertised in a magazine but it was for 'ornamental' use if you see what I mean. Not parading around the supermarket.

I never watched it but from what i have read on other forums it sounds very strange

Just plain weird! Most of the comments she made about labour and spending all that money on clothes that would not get soiled making more sense than paying for clothes for a'real baby'.. just well grrrrrrrrrr

i watched part of it but then i turned it off after 10 mins cos it was really creeping me out. did anyone else get creeped out by it?

they must have nothin better to spend there money on, i think that lady that went 2 america has bad issues, she wants a perfect child and thats why she has the dolls, no child is perfect but thats why we love them
