Off to Docs about my monthlies...

Dp rang them and booked an appointment with a female doctor today whilst i was in the bath.

It's for 5.10 pm this evening - WISH ME LUCK!

Last time i went about my monthlies was the end of 06' and i was losing clots then too and he told me it was because i had been laid down, that i sued to be on the injection and i was basically a wone to go back in 6 months He just didn't want to listen. Later that night i had a miscarriage and three monehts after that i had another horrendous one and was hospitalised.

I've now been on this period for over 2 weeks and it's heavy and i feel sick, tired and irritable all the time!

They've been like this for about 6 months now - and they have been irregular and strange since having dd 4 years ago!

Before i fell pg with dd i was on the depo injection and had been for 4 years!

Hopefully THIS doctor will listen to me!

Before i was havig a period for a week then a week later another one!

Now i seem to be on a period all of the time! I have terrible mood swings and don't want to let dp near me (which isn't like us ) I don't get depressed, i'm not that type of person i tend to just carry on and pretend things are not happening - but i am moody and sometimes could quite easily stab dp (although i know i actually couldn't i just completely lose temper)

And i wake up nearly every day feeling so tired i cannot get out of bed (and i am an early bird) but then i fall to sleep early at night too! I fell sick alot and get alot of period and lower back pain!

Sorry to rant and so sorry if tmi.......

omg hun. how awful. you poor thing. i hope this dr listens to you. might be an idea to try and get referred to a specialist

You've probably gone to Dr's by the time you read this, so I hope things went well and you can get some answers to get yourself on the mend.

I went through something similiar for a year, then was told I couldn't take any type of contraceptives with estrogen as my body wouldn't handle it well... so I went off birth control (after the dr's switching me around on several different types all with the same result. They did a DNC on my, cleaned me out and I've not been on conraceptives since and have not had problems any more. I will say that the older I get the worse my PMS is though!

I came off of birth control about 3.5 years ago. but this last year it's just gotten worse! I had a DNC after my last miscarriage atthe end of 06 - and it did get better for a little while but not much!

I'm a little nervous as never seen this Dr.

Well the Dr was lovely she really did listen!

Only thing that annoyed me was that in my notes after my m/c last in Nov 06' it syas i have been referred to a specialist First i'd heard of it!

She's given me some tablets to stop my af, which i'm also to take whenever it re-appears, but only when af is here. She's sent off to the hospital for me to have a scan to look for polyps and fibroids (sp). I've heard of them but not sure what they are so going to have a little look at that!

She wanted to examine me but cannot as currently still on af. As soon as it disappears i'm to call the Dr's and book in straight away for an examination a smear and a blood count even if spotting slightly.

Unfortunatley she is off for the next 2 weeks Which means i'll have to see another Doc....

But i feel much better knowing that someone has listened to me!!
