Grumpy old fella!!!!

My dh has been soooo grumpy the last few days
He is getting on my nerves he is normaly so happy and jokes around but he has been like a bear with a sore head since friday
I think something may have happened (not between me & him )he spent the day out with his mates for christmas drinks on friday so i know he was mighty hung over on saturday but its now tuesday so hey buddy "GET OVER IT"lol.....
I think he may have fallen out with his best mate???????
Oh well i guess i will let him be untill he wants to have a chat.

Yer hunny, they won't tell you when there is something up, keep it all bottled up.
Mine is exactly the opposite, bouncing off the walls so happy at the minute but when he moody he right grumpy draws!
Just see if he wants to chat, might appreciate a friendly ear x

YEP,just as i thought he had a falling out with his mate,and it has affected him quite badly.
His mate is a problematic drinker it has cost him his wife and now his friends,my husband wont tell me what was said but he has told me he wants nothing more to do with him at all.
I feel bad for both of them but his mate doesnt think he has a problem and wont accept any help from anybody,i have tried many times to organise appointments for him to recieve help but he never shows up.
I dont want to give up on him as when he is sober he is a great guy but i think this time his actions have cost him a very stable and caring friend.

well, I'm glad you got to the bottom of what was bugging him... that stinks about his friend.... he sounds kinda like my mom unfortunately, she has a bad problem and we've tried to help, but until someone can admit that they need help and then face life completely sober, no one else can ever help them.

Too bad for him that he lost a really good friend, but maybe it will help him realize that he needs to face his problems and try to help himself

Sorry that your hubby has this going on right now when it should be nothin but happy times for you guys.
