A preview of threads

Hiya
I am not really familiar with the technical jargon for this idea, so please bear with me!

On some sites, when you hover over the title of the thread, you can read what the general gist of the thread is, as the first few lines appear in a wee box...

Could we do that?

I know what you mean, you sort of get the first couple lines of the thread. I think it is a good idea

i know what you mean, the wii forum im a member of does that - that way, junt messages or messages that aint really for us we dont have to go thru the trouble of reading!!

I know what you mean LB - now this is on AK I keep trying to do it on all the other forums I go on and wonder why it doesn't work!!!!

This would be a nice feature - I'll see what I can do

Still looking for a way of doing this - but so far the only solutions would probably slow the site down loads - and nobody wants that!
