Jealously?

i think your feelings are only natural tbh hunni - i dont think youre jealous per say, as youve said you are happy for him and you know its to benefit you all in the future

maybe youre just a wee bit fed up - do you go out at all? even getting out and about for lunch or for dinner with mates can help

Hun this is really normal! I felt exactly the same when my husband went back to college a year ago. He made new friends and talked about it and his new job all the time (he is a trainee electrical engineer). He managed to get work to help him become an engineer as he didn't want to be an operator the rest of his life.

I felt like I was stuck in a dead end job and I couldn't just go to college and make new friends and further my career. I felt like I was getting left behind tbh. I know that his intentions are to better himself and give us a better future, but I just couldn't help but feel like somehow it was unfair.

Martin has overcome a lot of obstacles to get where he is now. He had to re-sit his English, Maths and Science GCSE's to get considered for college and have specialised dyslexic tutoring. I was the one that was 'clever' and I know this sounds awful, but I felt like I was the one supposed to be doing the career thing not him, I was the one that was clever not Martin That sound terrible doesn't it.

When he has finished college and got rewarded for his hard work you will feel it was worth it. There is also the chance that you can return to college again and make friends and better yourself too! Unfortunately it is hard to juggle kids and go to college and pay the bills and something has to give.

Just keep reminding yourself it will be all worth it in the end x
