Major first mile stone with Aaralyn

This evening she has given herself her first own hair cut... not very stylish one either let's just say that she has bangs where bangs don't usually go LOL

Luckily I caught her right at the beginning but she proudly displayed the piece of hair she cut off... Grrrr... Kids!! and the battery is charging on the camera again, don't know that you could tell in a pic anyway, so not too bad

oops!! she may want to be a hairdresser when shes older! i did this as a kid.but i was daft n put my hair in the bin! mum collered me and i tryed to pass it off as barbies! only im dark brown,and as everyone knows,barbie is blonde!! obviously she didnt buy it and bo:angry:ked me!! i had this spike ontop of my head for weeks untill it grew long enough to blend in with the rest of my hair!

I think in Aaralyns defence i will say she was just being creative lol
Sorry hun lol i know she shouldnt of done it but she is just so cute anyway even if her "bangs"(we say fringe) lol is crooked.

yeah at least u cant tell in a pic bailey went from hair to wais to hair to chin she cut that much off anf not once either lol

oh dear!!!

i did this when i was about 5 on a sunday after i had gone to bed - dad checked on me and there was hair all over the bed so he had to whisk me away to his mates who was a hairdresser so i didnt look like a total prat at school the next day!!!

my step son has also done this and took a chunk out of the front of his hair which was short anyway but he took it to the scalp!!!

Actually it's not too bad at all, I couldn't even notice where it was cut from after she had a bath and her hair washed last night...guess with hair as long as hers that's a good thing, or it could have really turned out bad!

jami was 5 when she cut her hair with a pair of wallpaper scissors she cut each side of her hair, couldnt reach the back so she had a bit of a tail lolol. didnt actually do too bad a job but her fringe (or bangs) were non-existant lolol

Oh no! We once caught Charlotte just about to cut her hair and managed to stop her but thankfully she has never attempted to do it again.

Apparently I put Nivea cream and baby powder in my hair when I was about 2 and it took ages to get it out - which must have been bad as I was practically bald until 3! I didn't do it just once either

At least it doesn't look too bad, I'm sure there are alot of kids that have done it!

LOL!!!! Hope it's the first & last time for ya... Isabelle has cut her own hair like 4 times. The last time, she gave herself bangs like Moe from the # Stooges.

Well, I'm thinking about going with bangs (fringe) for her, the side that has them looks kinda cute LOL

Kristen maybe I'll let you cut some on her while she's at your house Saturday... since you did give her the first haircut that wasn't done by her
