IM GOIN MAD LOL
me and my husband have just started a full time course,
we cant claim for anythin until he gets his first two payslips and that wont be til the end of sept.
we have no food no money and we dunno what to do.
theres got to be someone out there that can help us they cant just make ppl wait while bills need payin and kids need feedin its just not right.im gettin £70 on friday from benifits but £67 has got to go on bills £3 left COME ON lol

's to you Cassie, I wish I could help you hun, I'm in the same boat even with this new job right now, I just got a paycheck on Friday and the whole thing has gone to Aaralyn's school tuition. Thank God for Marc because even if things don't work out with us I will always appreciate all he's done for Aaralyn and I.

I hope you get things sorted and good for you for going to school, try to keep it up if you can and apply for every bit of assistance you can.

are u in the uk? as wrkin tax and child tax u dont need wage slips to get the money,u just need to give em ur national insurance number an they find everything out themselves.not only will u get a backpay but depending on urtotal income,u can get a lot a week! also u can get aid towards rent/mortgage aswel as council tax.just contact your local council.

Thats stupid you should be able to use his P45. You should be entitled to income support cause your both studying. Have you been to the Job centre?? You should be able to get a crisis loan, which the money you borrow will come out your benefits when they come through, but its taken weekly. Yes deffo make sure they backdate all your payments, they can be craftly about that sometimes.

i would just like to update that we STILL arent gettin any housin benifits and still payin for council tax they are so slow. i had a break down not long ago cus we werent gettin any money my mum had to pay £140 into my account the other day to pay my rent which is comin out 2moz, i havent payed the bills which is £70 and we behind on the council tax which is £70. for the past two weeks we havent had food so ive been takin kieran up my mums, even my cat is sooo hungry i feel bad . xmas is gonna be so crap this year all im thinkin about is gettin kieran somethin. anyways they best get there arses movin cus we cant pay the rent next month its just too much xxx

Hmmm, as you are on benefits, your housing and council tax will be back dated, personally I would'nt pay them, they can't make you pay if you have nothing to pay with. Be firm with these grease monkeys, no income and benefits will entitle you to housing benefit and council tax benefit...I would go and see your local housing officers asap and sort this out.

last yr we really struggled financially hun - and we didnt pay council tax at all for a yr!!!

dont beleve all this about they put u in jail and blah blah as its rubbish - thats only for those who do it yr after yr... with us we agreed to pay sumthin small like £20/month until wed payed it all (it took well over the yr but it was paid!)

they may be money grabbing inconsiderate things in their high and mighty offices but somewhere amongst them are a few feelings!!

like i said before hun - you need to either fill in the forms or if you desperately need the money actually go to your local council office - every town has one. they will sort u out on the spot and u will be back -dated within a few days rather than a few weeks of waiting for it if u filled in the form! kev works - whereas i dont and we get quite alot in wrking tax and child tax so u will beenbtitled to more than we get (i was also back dated just under a grand last month as i was paid out wrong!) but u need to do it before a certain date this month or else u wont get back dated as it will restartthe new yr and they will start u off then - u will lose alot of what your entitled to!

sorry if this sounds harsh im sorry ur finding things difficult and struggling.. but if that the case why get a 4 d scan done for nearly 200 pound i think i cud of spent the money elsewere. prob upset a few people but oh well thats my opinion

i think you make a very goof point there! and if someone else did pay for it, i would of asked them if you could have the money for something more important things!

the scan had been booked 6 months ago when i found out i was pregnant plus my mum paid for it and she wouldnt of given me the money for something else cus she wanted me to get it done. she helped me pay rent this month and fed my kid but she cant pay for everything.ive rang the housin benefit and everything has been sorted but i dont get the money for october's but never mind im just happy now. thanx for most of ur support xxx

im glad youve fineally managed to get things sorted - theres nothing worse than worrying about things hun as more often than not somebody else has been there too so your never alon! we are all here for advice and to help eachother along when needed.take care hun xx

lol im not i just dont like ppl openin there mouths until they know the facts first, but i do understand where ur comin from. if it was some sort of treat instead of usin the money to live cus we havent had any treats, i cant even buy my son xmas gifts. how would anyone else feel if they couldnt do that for there kids? its horrible and i hope after this xmas it wont happen again thats why im glad kieran is still too young too understand xmas anyways im gonna start xmas shoppin early next year lol

i say im gonna start early every yr and never do!! haha!! its always a last minute rush a few days before and as everything is usually out of stock my nephews n neices end up with money! why dont u start saving vouchers or something next yr? a couple of quid a week or something? or maybe even that 'park' thing - iv never done that so dont really know the ins n outs of that but its a way to spread the cost n give ur los a great xmas!
