Can you help please

I've just found out that following my car accident I'm getting a decent settlement for my injuries and although I'm going to save some of it I also want to enjoy some. Obviously I'll treat my hubby and kids but I really want to treat myself coz I've been through quite a bad couple of years and this cash is just the boost I've been waiting for to get a couple of days away to myself. I've been looking on the internet at Spa breaks and also at Theatre breaks,stuff like that. I really want something that's 2 nights away,but not too far from where I live in Sussex(no further than 50 miles). It's doing my head in as there are so many places advertised on line and it's hard to know what's best and there's so much information. Can any of you recommend anything you've done or places people have told you about. I would really appreciate it, thankyou

bit far south for me to know of anywhere but I hope you find something and it is nice to treat ourselves sometimes

Well I've just booked a long weekend away, not just for me but with hubby and kids too. I know I'll still have to get up early,etc but we'll eat out so I wont have all the washing up and house work to do. We're going to a caravan site from fri-mon in a couple of weeks time. There'll be plenty for us to do (swimming pools, play areas, amusements, evening entertainment) plus it's by the beach. I am looking forward to it coz we've never had a holiday in the whole time we've been together(nearly 8 years) not even a honey moon. So it's nice we're all going

It's Camber Sands/Rye area

Yay we're going this friday,it's come round so quick. It'll be so nice to have no toys to tidy away, no washing up, no house work. We're going to eat out EVERY MEAL TIME, it's not worth going food shopping for just 3 nights anyway. We can just come and go all day and I wont have any work to do. I'll probably have 2 showers a day and wander around on cloud 9. It will also be so nice to not have people ringing up all the time for Steve to go fishing or to fix their cars, etc. Just the 4 of us
