no periods since coming off the pill

hi I'm new to this and i would appreciate if you could help me or give me some advice, me and my partner can't wait to start a family, the only problem is i came off the pill last December and still haven't had my first period, its been 7 months now still no luck, i have had tests done all OK. has anyone had anything similar. thanks.

Well i am kinda in the same situation, as i came off my pill beginning of april and have only had 2 periods since then! i have missed 2 and am terribly confused at the minute! I have been tld though by several people that it is quite normal! x

is it possible to get pregnant before the periods start.

erm if you ovulate then get pregnant you wont have a period! but this will only happen if you ovulate i guess! hmm its hard isnt it hun! xxx

I don't know if this helps but before i TTC the first time 9 years ago, i went of my pill and never got my period so my gp put me on the mini pill(i stoped trying)and when i came of it i only got my period twice a year and very light.Since having my DS 3 years ago i am now regular but still very light only have them for 2 days max.

whats the difference with the pill and the mini pill?

It's a difference in the amounts of hormones in the pills, some people can only take the mini-pill for health or weight related issues.

I am only on the mini pill for medical reasons. The mini pill you take every day without a break some women get periods but some dont and I get spotting every now and again.

I am not with anyone and t hink shall I come off the pill but the doctors say with the mini pill that when you stop taking it you become fertile straight away cus there is not so much in the pill like the normal pill?
