Scared scarey as it sounds its only been a few week since i dyed it red but its not tim to dye it again Very Happy going for a nice rich brown

soon i will be posting pics of me having no hair at all Shocked Rolling Eyes

well i have just rinsed it out an dried it best i can and my roots look brown but the rest still looks red Shocked Scared Confused

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the red pigment is near on impossible to dye over. Even a bleachout wont do the trick. The only way to get rid of red is to have your hair colour drained by the hairdresser. not very good for your hair and very costly!!

i know the red is hard to get rid of LOL
jo if i go bald i can borrow my mums wigs Shocked Razz to ha my hair stripped by the hair dressers it would cost around 50 quid Shocked

just leave it hun until the red fades a bit-it fades quite quick and then dye it again then

yep doesnt matter how many dyes you put on the hair at the end will be a diffents colour as its old hair,you can either cut the ends of or leave it dont dye it again as it wont solve the problem

I use JF lazartigue colour emulsion. Its great as its algae/vegetable based, has no amonia or peroxide and gives brilliant results, also safe to use in pregnancy. It coats the hair rather than changing the structure internally which is what chemical dyes do.

i darnt do my blonde streaks my self but if im going fr a soild colour i do it myself its light brown at the min but i want to go really dark brown

ive died my hair its really dark brown nerly black feel very rock chick LOL can still see a few light bits in it though awww well it looks ok for now

My mum once got told when she dyed her hair too dark to use a shampoo like vosene as it strips out the colour alot quicker and it faded enough within a couple of weeks to be dyed over a bit lighter.
