Even though i have set in my profile to receive emails when i get a PM or a reply to a post i never seem to get any. is there a problem with this?

You may need to check your junk mail hun. I had emails in my hotmail junk inbox telling me that I had some PMs - it depends if your email provider is classing the mail as "junk" or not I think.
