make-up colours

when choosing lipstick/eyeshadow do you go for brights,neutral tonnes or pastel shades?

i dont really wear eye shadow much, but if i did i like blues and greens! i liek them shimmering and glittery!

I don't wear makeup much but when I do I prefer the darker colours.

i tend to stick to light pinks and lilacs but only wear it for nights out

I'm a bit of a vintage freak, I LOVE the 50s and 60s and the glamorous eye make-up of the stars from then, especially pin-up girls!! But... not good to put it on in a rush or you risk ending up looking like a panda!

when i do wear it i use the neutral colours

i'm a natural blonde but i bit the bullet last year and went brunette! I'm now a chestnut brown. I love it and have no intention of going back to blonde. In fact its opened up a whole world of colours now with makeup, more than i could get away with before. During the day, i tend to only use tinted moisturiser and a bit of lippie but when i go out, i go the whole hog. I tend to go for bronzes,golds for my eyes with black/brown mascara. I use a bit of bronzer for cheeks and then add a little peachy blush to the apples of my cheeks. I've got this fab cherry glitter lipstick which i did splash out a bit on, cost me £8 but depending on the rest of the makeup, can either look lovely and natural or downright sexy!
