Trying to conceve baby number 2

I just wanted to know if anybody had a hard time trying for baby number 2.When i tried to conceive the first time 3years ago it happen first go.We recently went overseas for 3mnths and started trying as soon as we got back home (10 mnths ago)so far nothing has happen and the doctor said not to worry (yeah right)just wanted to know if anyone has found it difficult after their first child?

it took me 4 years to get my second and it took my mum the same and my sister is due for her second now ans she had been trying for nearly 3 years so in our family yes it took ages

To say our first wasn't planned so I was surprised it took us 11 months with no.2, we had decided to go to the drs if nothing had happened after 12 months to check everything was ok but no need in the end.

We conceived George around our 2nd wedding anniversary. We went away for the weekend and we relaxed loads so we think thats why we fell on. I had also decided to eat healthier and was going to the gym a couple of times a week and lost about 1/2 a stone.

My DH works shifts 12 hr night and days so we assume that didn't help us fall on immediately.

thats same with me it took a year to conceived kieran and me and my husband had always said b4 that we would go to the doctors to see if everythin was fine after a year of tryin,my second time i dont really know because after havin kieran we hardly every slept together after bein so tired and all,if we did it would of onhly been the once every couple of months so we werent likly to conceived but in april we conceived after sleeping together twice LOL

my first child was concived the first time i ever had intercourse. with my second i was tring for about 8 months but with my second i had beed trying for 6 week and found out i was 4 wks pregnant x

Conceived both of mine first try (having also got pregnant once before ON the pill-but miscarried)

Thanks guys i feel better knowing that I'm not alone. I am thinking that a nice weekend away with hubby might be a good start to relaxing and having one on one time (which we don't do often).You guys are so great, once again thanks from the other side of the world xxxxxxx

I'm TTC no#2 as well and am in cycle 12 now after a m/c last year. Wouldn't mind but the one I lost only took a month to fall pregnant.!

We tried so hard this month to get the timing right but no luck.We have a doc app tomorrow ,I'm confident that something will happen.Its hard explaining to a 3year old why they are the only ones at kindy not to have a sibling.But he is a well balanced child that interacts great with children of all ages so I'm sure whatever happens he will be fine.
