half term break

Lately I've had a really stressful time so yesterday I had a spur-of the moment idea to go away for a couple of nights to the Isle of Wight. I've asked my nan to come with the kids and I as dh has alot of work on this week. I'm really looking forward to it coz my nan and grandad always took me there when I was a kid and it'll be SOOO nice to not have to do the washing up and house work We're staying in a B&B on the sea-front so they'll be amusements and the beach and crazy golf(not sure about how safe that'll be with the kids though )So we're going tuesday-thursday

We're back and had a good time. Paddled in the sea and climbed on the rocks. Went in the amusement arcade,played ten-pin bowling,went round the shops,made sand castles etc. Hsad some awful rain but then also some excellent sunshine; but nice to be home with my creature comforts and dh of course
