Periods - A personal question!

Was just wondering when everyones periods/AF came back after they'd had their LO's.

I've only had 1 and that was 7 weeks after Ethan was born...he's now nearly 6 months.

I'm a little concerned and confused...help!

Hi Gazelle, my period came back straight away although they were a little iregular for first few months but they have settled down now and Im like clockwork. Are you breastffeeding?if you are this may be why your not having a period. If not breastfeeding then I would get checked over by doctor xo

My period came back exactly 28 days after having Charlotte but I didn't breast feed.

It was 5 weeks after having George but I half expressed and formula fed for three weeks.

I don't know if breast feeding (if you are) can cause periods to be a bit erratic as I've never fully done it.

If you are a bit concerned go to your GP, but mine have decided to disappear now for some strange reason LOL!

If you are breastfeeding then that would be why they are erratic at the moment. I breastfed all of mine so not sure about when bottle feeding.

I had mine at 6 weeks and then they slotted right back into a pattern like they had never been away

Both times mine came back after about 5 weeks and then I went back on the pill anyway so 4 weekly as normal after that

mine came back after about four months once i stopped expressing milk. they are pretty much regula now much more so than they were before which is good. although they do last a couple of days longer than they used to x
