You would go away with your baby?

We go away every year with DFs family and when dd was born i said i wanted her to be about 3mths old so she was in a routine before we went away.

I'm doing the same with this baby too!

But i couldnt take a child abroad until they were on proper food, off baby milk and toilet trained and speaking! Only coz i dont like travelling abroad and at leat then if they are ill then can tell me and its easier to find them soemthing to eat! but im a whimp!

Kieran first went abroad when he was 6 mths old ~ it was a breeze, the spanish baby food went down a treat with him and it was easy to understand what they were as well. I just took the ready made cartons of his milk with me.

Lauryn never went anywhere until she was 18 mths, but that was only because I was taken into hospital when she was 4 months and kept there til she was almost 8 mths, we had a holiday booked again to Spain when she would have been 5 mths but I wasn't well enough for it so just my parents and Kieran went (dh was looking after Lauryn).

mine were both around 3 months when we first went away also although im not even going to think of taking them abroad till next year.i want caitlin out of nappies and off bottles first and to be buggy free(i like an easy life lol)

well we got a holiday booked for the 1st week of october this year and baby isnt due till 31st august- so will be no older than a month! ist took ryan abroad to cyprus when he was 14 months!!

We took DD on holiday when she was 11 weeks old to Haven, and we also went to haven when DS was 12 weeks old was hard work but a change of sceanary lol

We didn't take DD abroad till she was 10 months old and DS was 16 months old before he went abroad

We haven't taken our DD away yet, I think at 2 shes a bit too young, and I don't think I could handle her on a plane! Maybe when shes 5, and can understand it, I'm hoping she'll be easier to handle then!

I went away to my aunties from when Joseph was 6 weeks old. (200miles) we are always travelling down to Edinburgh

we first took ciaran abroad when he was about 6 months old and it was a fantastic holiday havent book a holiday this year so not sure how old the new baby will be

Rio is 22 months now and has been to Menorca and the US three times. She was 6 months the first time we went. We've never had and problems and we're planning on going abroad again in June. Go for it its easy.
