then there is little felcity , felicity turned 1 years old in november,, felciity can walk she started to walk just a few weeks before her 1st birthday.. now there is no stopping her , felicity has trouble with textures and tastes just like thomas was..

thomas got diagnosed with autism in december 2005 just over 1 year ago..

Not sure if this is where a hello goes, but there we are Smile

I'm Angel, mum of 3, my daughter was born with a VSD (hole in her heart) and is registered blind, and has been from birth. She goes to a mainstream primary school and will be moving onto a mainstream secondary school.

I find myself thinking how lucky we are as the schools are bending over backwards to have her there.

not sure what else to say as the smallest mini-terrorist is doing his kung foo impression for me and i can't think straight for laughing........

hi there. i also have a 2 year old daughter with a VSD like witchy poo daughter. I also have a 3 year old daughter who had open heart surgery last year coz she had an ASD that was a very bad time we had to travel to liverpool alder hey hospital for her surgery. We only found out about her heart a week before she had her surgery i had took her to the docs coz she kept fainting and the hospital had said there was nothing wrong the doc checked her chest and said she had a slight heart mumur but told me not to worry she telephone the heart specialist and asked for an appointment which o thought was strang as they always sent appointments through the post for my mum we went to see him the next day.we went to see mr stevens the heart specialist and was told that it was a very large whole and he was very worried and he had not come across this sort of mumur in 17 yrs and was sent straight for a echo scan and ECG on her heart the echo scan shown that it was a very large whole and was straight through the middle of the 2 top chambers of her heart and was affecting her left lung which was already 2 the size it was ment to be and if she didnt have surgery soon then she might not last the year. i didnt know what had gone wrong from having a 2 yr old little girl who i thought was fine the wk before to having a very poorly little girl who had never really been well that wk it was heart breaking. she was taken in to hospital 2 days after and went through her open heart surgery she was very very brave bless her and is doing very well now. When we got back from alder hey i was talking to my OH and said i was worried incase our other daughter had anything wrong with her heart so he told me to get her checked for my peace of mind so i did and was told she also had a murmur we have now found out this is a VSD which she has got to have regular check ups for. i was pregnant again when i found out what was wrong with my other 2 girls and had to have scans on her heart when i was pregnant but luckly she is fine x
