I want my children to be olympic athletes, academics, musical prodigies, chess grandmasters, computer geniuses and to run for political office someday. Am I being unreasonable?
I don't want to burn them out, but I also don't want to deny them the opportunity to lift the world cup or be president someday.
How much or how little should I push them? should I push them at all?
I am confused because their are many theories out there. I personally wished my parents had done more for me developmentally, and I don't want my kids to feel the same way when they grow up.
